What Does It Mean to Choose Courage?

Have you ever heard the phrase, Love is a Choice?  When most people say that it means that although we describe Love as a feeling (I am in love), in actuality, we can CHOOSE to Love someone even when we aren’t sure we like them very much!

For me, Choosing Courage means that I choose to be courageous, especially when I am scared beyond reason!  It comes from Joshua 1:9 when we are commanded to Be Strong and Courageous.  It reminds me that when I don’t feel very Joyful, Patient, or Peaceful because of what is happening around me, that I can choose to be Courageous and step out in Joy, in Patience, or in Peace. 

The Choosing Courage blog is an opportunity for me to:
